2024 - Pinter Prize Winner- Arundhathi Roy

 Arundhati Roy, Indian- British writer and activist was awarded the PEN Pinter Prize for her "unflinching" writing. Roy donated her share of the prize money to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund. She shared the prize with Alaa Abd el-Fattah, the Egyptian- British writer. Her novel "The God of Small Things" won booker prize in 1997.
